Why this is a priority
To support the delivery of our mandate and critical functions, we need to focus on operational resilience and effective risk management to ensure we provide critical services and support to our business lines in day-to-day operations and in the face of disruption.
Goals for our operational resilience priority
- We have the capacity and capabilities to deliver critical functions including responding to crisis events.
- We have an effective enterprise risk management and governance function to oversee and monitor top external and internal risks.
- Our strategic risk response includes deliberate and coordinated partner and stakeholder engagement and the public role of the Superintendent and the Chief Actuary.
